Carlow Resource Centre

RehabCare’s community-based resource centres in Carlow assists people with disabilities to achieve their full potential and a better quality of life. Our resource centres provide people with access to a range of supports and activities on a one-to-one basis and in group settings. Activities vary from centre to centre and depending on the interests of the people who attend each service some examples are: art and crafts, drama, horticulture, leisure activities, cookery, independent living skills, sports, dancing, group excursions and many more.

Advocacy

Advocacy aims to challenge exclusion and promote inclusion.

We encourage advocacy at all levels in Rehab Group: from one-to-one conversations to taking action at local level to national, headline-grabbing campaigns. Rehab Group’s Five Year Strategic Plan aims to develop a robust and independent advocacy structure within the organisation. We support the people who use our services and the broader disability community to raise issues that matter to them.
