Men’s Aid Ireland provide a confidential service underpinned by a victim centric and human rights proofed approach aimed at ensuring all male victims of Domestic Violence / Coercive Control receive the required support to be safe. Men’s Aid support those victims who, from a gender perspective, primarily identify as male, including non-binary, intersex and transgender men within its support and services provision. However, we also acknowledge our responsibility to support all victims of domestic violence / coercive control and will provide ‘support to report’ for any victim, irrespective of gender, by referral to the most relevant of our civil society partners, with the informed consent of the victim.

Services include:

  • National Helpline – Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
  • One to One appointments – In person appointments to discuss your situation in more detail.
  • Court Clinics – Dolphin House, Family Law Court, Dublin, Dundalk Court, Trim Court, Galway and Waterford Courts. Due to limited capacity, Court accompaniment is limited to the North East and for application of Protection and Interim Barring Orders only.
  • Counselling with an experienced qualified psychotherapist.
  • Training Academy – QQI delivered training for frontline professionals & workplaces.
  • Diversity & Inclusion workshops – Community workshops supporting members of the LGBTQI+ communities.
  • Advocacy – The national voice representing the voice of male victim survivors, striving for equal supports nationally.
