Youth Advocacy Events
Events as part of the Young Care Voices project.
They are smaller scale interactive events with youth – they are aimed at young carers most specifically, but really anyone is welcome as many young carers might want to bring a friend and many young people don’t ever realise they are a young carers – the events focus on ‘what, not who you care about’ and are an opportunity for young people to learn more about social justice, participatory democracy, active citizenship and advocacy and we will be making murals linked to social justice and advocacy.
The events are free and lunch is provided, and we can offer free buses within a 150km radius for groups of over 12. or public transport tickets/fuel vouchers to independent travellers.
