Empower and Educate Post Diagnosis Support for Families – AsIAm
Our Empower and Educate post diagnosis support online programme for parents is now in its third year.
We are delighted to pilot Empower and Educate IN PERSON his coming May 9th, 2025, at the Aisling Hotel, Dublin.
This event aims to provide parents and with increased knowledge and confidence as they move forward as a family. The following topics will be addressed:
• Autistic Identity and Experience
• Autistic Communication
• Navigating Sensory Safety
• Know your Child’s Rights
• Education and school
This event will offer sessions for both parents of primary school aged children, and parents of secondary school aged children.
Important: This event is best suited to parents of children diagnosed in the past 18 months, and parents who have not previously availed of the Empower and Educate programme
This event is only open to parents/guardians registered to the Child and Family Support Programme.
