Inspired by the artist mothers of Acts of Creation, Art Mams invites new mothers to connect, reflect and create over an ten-week relaxed programme.

Meet weekly in “The Temple” an area of the exhibition celebrating self portraits of artist mothers. You will make artwork with, and about your baby, and your experience of motherhood.

Your baby will be with you on your lap, in your carrier or in your buggy while you draw, paint and sketch. Feel free to get up, move, feed, change a nappy and chat.

This is a welcoming, warm environment to explore your experience of motherhood creatively together.

No art experience is necessary and all materials will be provided. Sessions are for babies who are not yet on the move. Stay for tea, coffee and chats after each session in VISUAL’s bar.
