Access & Inclusion Model (AIM)
Access & Inclusion Model (AIM) provides a range of supports for children with special needs to facilitate attendance in mainstream Early Years pre-school services. The 7 levels of supports range progressively from the universal, fostering an inclusive environment, to targeted supports, e.g., access to therapy services, additional assistance in the pre-school room.
Target Group: Children with Special Needs eligible for the Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) scheme
How to access: To be accessed through a child’s specific pre-school provider.
